Cervical spine osteochondrosis is a chronic disease. This definition suggests that if one becomes ill, one is forced to constantly remember that one must follow certain rules of life in order not to cause aggravation.
The human spine consists of three sections - neck, chest and lumbar. But the cervix is the most vulnerable because it is the least protected, yet at the same time it is constantly in motion and experiencing huge loads. And the reality of modern life has contributed to a lifestyle that is far from beneficial to spinal health. After all, to be honest, we have to admit that humanity is moving less and less every year. For most, work means an eight-hour session. So I’m sitting at the computer writing the article, and you’re reading, you’re sitting too. So day by day we sit in the office, travel by traffic, at home all the work is done by household appliances for us and we relax. Where? “Movement for life” is a well-known term. However, we can state with some accuracy: movement is a healthy spine. Cervical osteochondrosis is getting younger. It is not uncommon today for a young man in his thirties to complain of neck pain. But pain is not the only symptom of the disease.
Symptoms
First, pain occurs when moving the head, body, arms.
Severe headache that cannot be relieved even after taking painkillers.
Blurred, multi-colored spots or flashing "flies" may appear in front of the headache.
Dizziness is also a common symptom in cervical osteochondrosis.
Chest pain. However, it may seem like a heartache. Here, it is important not to confuse osteochondrosis and angina pectoris. With the latter, the pain of the heart reacts in the left hand. The patient is unconsciously afraid of death. In osteochondrosis, nothing happens.
Causes
Surprisingly, doctors admit that today they cannot fully explain all the causes that lead to the disease. But at the same time, they list the main ones, from which it becomes clear that often a person himself is at fault for the occurrence of a disease such as cervical osteochondrosis.
For reasons beyond our control, we include inheritance and age. You need to take this into account and don’t forget about prevention if you are in danger of not falling victim to the disease.
The second (rather the first) cause is physical inactivity. Move, move and move! And then you can avoid discomfort like cervical osteochondrosis.
Do you smoke? Discard immediately! All diseases caused by smoking, including osteochondrosis.
Infectious diseases and poisoning of the body.
Spinal cord injuries.
Stress, constant anxiety, nervousness at work and at home.

Once an accurate diagnosis has been made, your doctor will prescribe treatment to relieve pain and restore mobility. Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and analgesic drugs are prescribed. In addition to medication, physiotherapy is prescribed without failure. Rubbing
- Rubbing the infusion of wormwood into the cervical spine will help. For infusion, pour a spoonful of dry wormwood into a thermos and pour three hundred ml of boiling water. After two hours of infusion, filter, cool slightly and rub the affected area several times a day.
- Purple tincture is used for many diseases, but is most often recommended for musculoskeletal problems. In spring, during the abundant flowering of organs, it should be prepared and stored if necessary. Transfer a hundred grams of freshly picked organ brush to a glass bowl and add a liter of good forty-degree vodka. Place the bottle in a dark cupboard for a week and a half. Strain, pour the tincture into a clean bottle and use for daily rubbing.
- Rubbing garlic relieves the condition in osteochondrosis. Peel the garlic and fill with two hundred grams of peeled, broken cloves with a bottle of vodka. Stick to a week in a dark closet. Shake the tincture every day. Filter to prevent burns and rub painful areas with tincture.
- If Indian onions grow on the windowsill - great! Every night, tear off a sheet of it, rinse, cut off and rub the cervical vertebrae with the plant pulp. Lie down immediately after the procedure. The pain should decrease almost immediately.
- Dissolve a mummy tablet in a little water and mix with a spoonful of honey. In the evening, shortly before going to bed, massage the mixture into the skin above the cervical vertebrae. Then apply a small amount of honey to the wrap and secure it to the back of the neck. Leave until morning.
- Make a mixture of iodine tincture and camphor alcohol - ten and three hundred ml of medical alcohol. Rub the medicine mixture every night for a week.
Ointments
- For hop ointment, use a spoonful of soft butter and pulp in a powdered dry hop cone. Then apply a thin layer to the cervical spine, place a waterproof material and wool bandage on top, hold for thirty minutes to an hour.
- Crush juniper needles and bay leaves to a powder. Pour one tablespoon of powder into two tablespoons of softened natural butter. Connect carefully. Then do the same as for the hop ointment.
- The following ointment recipe is also based on. Take a spoonful of dry powder as a filler: celandine, mint, calendula and hops. The method of preparation and use is the same as the previous recipes.
- Make an ointment containing equal amounts of camphor alcohol, vodka and mustard powder. Three egg whites are separated and beaten, added to the prepared mixture and massaged thoroughly. It is recommended to use the ointment in the evening before going to bed. After application to the skin, a warm cloth should be tied around the neck.
- And at the end of the ointment topic is another butter-based product. Peel a medium head of garlic, approx. Same piece of butter and ginger root that is the size of a garlic. Chop the garlic and ginger and rub into soft butter. Rub the ointment every night before going to bed and the pain will go away very quickly.
Compress
- Anesthetic compress is made from burdock infusion. Cut the leaves of the dry burdock and add a spoon to two hundred ml of boiled water. After half an hour, drain, soak a compress cloth in the infusion, and apply to the back of the neck. Cover with waterproof material and warm cloth. Lie down for about twenty minutes. After removing the compression, insulate the application site.
- Make an elderberry tincture that can be used for both compaction and rubbing. Lightly mash one hundred and fifty grams of elderberries and fill with a bottle of high quality vodka. Filter after one week of infusion. Before applying the compress, take fifty ml of tincture, dilute one hundred and fifty ml of clean, warm water, and moisten the cloth for the compress, put it on for half an hour, heat it with a wool bandage on top. If you use the tincture for grinding, you do not need to dilute it with water.
- Leave the herbal compress on overnight. Take dry dandelion and burdock roots and St. John’s wort in equal parts. Grind and mix the ingredients. Pour a spoonful of the collection into two hundred ml of hot water and place on the stove and boil for five minutes. If cool, filter. Secure the garment soaked in the broth to the nape of the neck with a warming bandage.
- It is very easy to treat osteochondrosis with horseradish. You don’t have to stick to it or cook. Tear off a fresh leaf, dip it in hot water and immediately attach it to the cervical spine with a warm cloth. Leave overnight. If you feel a burning sensation, don’t be scared, it should be that way.
- Helps treat cottage cheese, preferably homemade. Prepare a piece of compresses, spread the cottage cheese evenly, sprinkle lightly with vinegar and place on the nape of the neck, fixed with a warm bandage. Healers recommend keeping the cottage cheese compress all night.
- Peel a small potato tuber and grate. Add a spoonful of honey to the mashed potatoes, mix. Apply the mixture to the compresses and fix it for one and a half to two hours in the problem area of the spine.
- Prepare the aloe and squeeze the juice - you will need fifty ml. Combine fresh aloe juice with 100-50 ml of vodka and 100 grams of honey. Spread an even layer on a dressing compress and apply to the cervical spine for an hour.
- Refined kerosene is an excellent fuel. Soak a bandage, apply to the sore spot, then waterproof material and a warming bandage. The exposure time for kerosene compression does not exceed one hour.
Oral
- Make a decoction of sunflower roots. Take dry roots, grind and weigh into a full glass. Pour three liters of hot water on the roots, put on the stove and bring to a boil for three minutes after boiling. Drink the cooled and filtered soup three times a day for three days after breakfast, lunch and dinner. If the boiling time of the roots increases to five minutes, you will achieve another effect by taking it - removing the salts from the body. The broth should be cooked and drunk every day for thirty days. After about twenty days, you notice that the urine has turned dark - this is normal - the process has begun. Continue taking it until the color of your urine returns to normal.
- Infusion of garlic with lemon restores mobility and eliminates pain. Rinse three lemons and chop with the peel. Peel and chop one hundred and fifty grams of garlic cloves. Put everything in a glass jar and fill a liter of boiled water. After the infusion has cooled, it is ready for use. In the morning, immediately after waking up, take one hundred and twenty-five ml infusion after mixing.
- A mixture of vegetable juices and honey with the addition of vodka provides an excellent healing effect. Because vodka is a good preservative, the mixture can be prepared for later use and stored in the refrigerator. Get the aloe leaf juice first. Measure its volume and mix with the same amount of black radish juice. Add liquid honey (if thickened, heat in a steam bath until it liquefies) in an amount equal to half the volume of the aloe juice. Mix thoroughly and add the same amount of vodka. Stir again, pour into a clean glass jar. We recommend that you drink one spoon in the morning after waking up.
- Cut the parsley root. Boil two spoons in two glasses of water for one hour. The cooled and filtered broth, one spoonful, should be taken twice a day - in the morning, on an empty stomach and in the evening, before going to bed.
- Parsley copes well with removing salts from the joints, so it came in a collection of fifty grams of parsley, nettle leaves, chamomile flowers, hop cones, and a hundred grams of burdock each. Grind the ingredients, pour two glasses of boiled water, close the dishes and leave for three days. Pour the filtered infusion into a clean container and place in the refrigerator. It should be treated for a week and a half, twice a day - morning and evening, with a spoon.
- No less effective for osteochondrosis and celery. Take a piece of root weighing about three grams and, after chopping, transfer it to one liter of boiling water. Insist on the night. Tribe in the morning. Drink one spoon three times a day before main meals.
- Folk healers have not ignored sesame seeds either, given that they have medicinal properties due to their rich mineral content. No need to cook or stick to it. It is gentle to eat a spoonful of sesame seeds twice a day and quickly make up for your body’s calcium and potassium deficiency.
- Pine bud syrup three times a day to relieve the pain of osteochondrosis. In the spring, when the pine has grown, choose young buds, rinse and dry them. Then chop them gently, and after measuring the volume of the kidneys, add sugar twice. Mix thoroughly, transfer to a clean glass jar and leave in the refrigerator for fourteen days. After the specified time, the syrup should turn brown. Take a spoonful of syrup in your mouth, but do not swallow immediately and suck and then swallow. It is recommended to treat with pine syrup for three weeks.
- Folk healers have also picked birch buds to fight osteochondrosis. Put a spoonful of birch buds in a liter of boiled water, close the jar with a lid and let it cool completely. Filter and drink the infusion throughout the day in four equal doses.
- Blueberry leaves contain anti-inflammatory substances. Pour three tablespoons of dry crushed cranberry leaves with two hundred and fifty ml of boiling water. After about two hours, strain and drink two dumplings three times a day, with or without food.
- Thoroughly rinse the cinquefoyl along with the root, gently tear and fill a three-liter container to half the volume. Pour two bottles of good vodka, close the lid and leave in a dark cupboard for three weeks. Pour the filtered tincture into a clean glass container. A quarter hour before each meal, drink the sabernik tincture with a spoon until the tincture is over.
- Many people have tinctures of organ flowers at home. If not, prepare and keep it at hand at all times - this is an excellent remedy for many problems with joint disease. They drink before meals, dropping thirty drops into a little water. And it's not hard to make. Pick up the purple color, rinse and place in a glass jar to the top. Pour enough vodka to completely cover the organ. Leave it infused for three weeks in a place protected from sunlight.
- The medicinal properties of madder are recognized by official medicine. It is part of the pharmacological preparations recommended for many diseases. Crazy osteochondrosis is easy to treat. The dry root should be ground to a powdery state and eat grams of warm water three times a day. You can make an infusion of Madder by taking a spoonful of ground root and adding it to two hundred and fifty ml of hot water. Send it in a steam bath for ten minutes. Take one hundred ml in the morning and evening.
- Buy pine nuts, crush them and place in a glass jar. Pour enough vodka to be about seven to eight inches above the walnut. Close and leave in the dark for seven days. Shake the nuts in the vodka every day. Filter the tincture from the ingredients. Treat with tincture, taking a spoon in the morning, lunch and evening.
- There is another version of the tincture of nuts. But they just need a shell. Crush two hundred grams of peel from smaller nuts and pour in two bottles of high quality vodka. Strain after a month. Take two tablespoons of tincture on the shells thirty minutes before the main meals.
- We recommend that you drink a decoction from the herbal collection in a glass in the morning and evening. It must be cooked every day. Pour fifty grams of crushed willow bark, forty grams of birch leaves and ten grams of sandwich into half a liter of water. Bring to a boil and cook for ten minutes. After an hour, strain the broth and pamper yourself with health.
Miscellaneous
- Salt thickening. Add a spoonful of sea salt to a liter of water, put on fire and bring to a boil. Remove from the stove and, if the salt has not dissolved, stir until dissolved. Wait for it to cool to body temperature, immerse a small hard towel in the water, squeeze lightly and rub the painful areas with it. Repeat the rubbing every day for a week and a half.
- Traditional medicine recommends kneading oat or rye dough in hot water to eliminate inflammation and relieve pain, wrap it up according to the shape and size of the cervical spine, and fix it in the problem area. Keep refrigerated.
- Squeeze the horseradish juice, mix with the same amount of vodka. Rub the cervical spine every night with this mixture. Healers claim that this cure is a very powerful painkiller.
- To relieve pain in osteochondrosis, attach magnets to the cervical vertebrae for one hour. Any magnet will work, even those that have been taken out of the refrigerator.
- Just like magnets, copper coins or pure copper plates affect pain without dirt. They must be secured on both sides of the spine along the entire length of the cervical spine and left for a maximum of eight hours. The most convenient - at night.
- In the past, there were no particular massagers for the spine, and people, feeling the need to affect their vertebrae, used long round sticks for this. You can buy a shovel handle or something similar. Place the stick on the back of your shoulders and start rolling up and down your vertebrae at least fifty times. Daily "stick" massage successfully replaces modern massagers.
